Welcome to GS Distribting's Online RMA section. Please carefully read the information below to help in expediting your return request. Once you've read and understood these instructions, click on the "Online RMA Form" option at the bottom of the page and complete the steps set forth. Once your submitted form has been received GS Distributing Customer Service representative will contact you within 48 hours.
Returns: All returns must be handled by our Return Authorization Dept. Only boxes with an R.A.# clearly taped on the outside of the box will be accepted. Merchandise returned for any reason other than shipping error or defect will be assessed a 20% restocking fee and must be in its original box and packaging. A shipment refused for any reason is subject to freight charges both ways, a $25.00 restocking fee for the first $500.00, and $5.00 for each additional $250.00. These charges must be paid in advance of your next order. This is necessary to clear your account to “SHIP OK” status. Any new merchandise returned after six (6) months could be assessed a higher restocking fee. All new merchandise is guaranteed for six (6) months from date of shipment, by GS Distributing. After six (6) months, manufacturer’s warranties apply (repair only). Please note that Special Order Product is not returnable.
Warranty Terms and Conditions:
Manufacturer's warranties apply to all products sold by GS Distributing. Warranty terms and conditions differ for each manufacturer. For specific manufacturer's warranty policies, contact us.
Merchandise received without a RMA number will be refused.
Will-call defective merchandise not picked up within fourteen (14) days of exchange or no defect found, will be returned freight collect.
RMA numbers are only valid for fourteen (15) days from date of issue. Merchandise received thereafter will be returned freight collect.
Will call returns require sufficient time to test and process, therefore delaying the process up to one business day.
Defective returns are for replacement, repair, or credit AT OUR OPTION.
Only those items authorized for return on an issued RMA will be accepted. Exchanges will not be issued if the items returned do not match items on the RMA packing list.
Freight for defective returns is the customer's responsibility and must be prepaid.
Merchandise being replaced will be sent out as soon as we receive and approve the defective products.
Requests may take one to 48 business hours to process.
Merchandise exceeding warranty period will not be accepted.
Returns that are found to have no defect will be assessed a $25 charge and will be shipped back freight collect.
Return Merchandise Authorization:
GS Distributing must approve all returns. A Return Authorization number must be issued and all returned products must arrive freight prepaid. A valid Return Authorization can be obtained by email email@example.com or by fax 916-374-7393. Goods received without a valid return authorization number will be refused and returned back at shippers expense.
Unauthorized repair or modification of products will void all warranties. This includes soldering and use of unauthorized parts. No warranty will apply to products subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or accidents.
